Every year, a lump of grasshoppers come to the anthill and erode what the ants have gathered by reason of them. The "offering", as the ants divine summons the ritual, is a part of their lot. One day in spring, when the sacrifice's preparation has just been qualified, Flik, unliked inventor ant, accidentally drops the whole offered seeds into the river. The grasshoppers tend hitherward and give the ants a encourage chance to collect food until apostasy. Flik sets off to find bugs that are resolution to fight the grasshoppers (nobody expects him to succeed anyway) and, becoming to a double misinterpretation, returns with a circus crew, giving everybody of the present day hope. When the misunderstanding finally gets cleared uncovered, there is only little time left instead of a new plan, which has to act, or else...
