Storyline: Cole is a likeable unvarying guy. Except that ever since he witnessed a gruesome put to death-suicide, things haven't been completely right. His wife left him, he is tormented by hallucinations and his career has nosedived into a sapient collar job with a carpet cleaning religious rite. Just when it seems his life has reached seat, Cole is called out on every all-night cleaning job in some Italianate mansion far from the incorporated town. For company he has Henry, the opulent, condescending homeowner who seems to take sadistic delight in letting Cole think he has fit murdered his wife. A reddish sully on the carpet, a knife hacking into baked rabbit, a cell phone that won't have lodgings ringing - does it add up to murder or is Cole losing his in conclusion handhold on his fragile sanity? Kinetic camerawork and a playfully monitory sound design ensure that this hair-raising doleful comedy will keep us guessing until the very last shot. Written through Theresa Schwartzman
